This course introduces students to the fundamental methodologies used to understand and frame complex systems and networks; characterize networks using a variety of metrics and methodologies; and model networks.

This undergraduate seminar explores emergent computational technologies, such as AI, the metaverse, and surveillance systems through various ethical frameworks and using speculative fiction to prompt discussion.

This co-convened course surveys methods used to characterize online communities as well as design methods and technologies used to create online communities.
